Title__*::Gordon Forest Outing Photos..

Ok. here are the picts that i promised.. didn't upload yesterday as yesterday was freaking cold!!! its hailing!! only 10-4 degrees!! so i stayed at home.. will upload the hailing picts later..

ok.. as i mentioned, the part of the forest that we went to was affected by loging and everywhere is really in a mess.. see pict below..

Though i m not a Greenie.. but i do care about the environment too! thats y i went for the trip! n seeing the mess that logging has created, i cant help but feel sad.. and especially when you see all the pretty plants and trees that are growing in the forest (picts below), you will feel sad that you may not see these in future..

this small little plant is on the ground.. and would be missed most of the time..

did you realise that the flowers are all so bright and vibrant in colours? I was really shocked to see the forest full of vibrant colours when i got there.. its very rare to see these stuff in singapore.. and very interestingly, the forest is also full of very interesting looking moss!!

this one grows on trees..

this is white moss!! making the ground looks like its covered with snow! pretty!!

and this is so nice! didn't expect to see so many interesting moss around! and because of these, a part of the forest that we were walking on actually feels spongy.. very weird feeling.. haha.. like walking on sponge! and its said that its because of all these type of moss that is growing on the ground! interesting! and i didn't expect to see such green forest here.. forgot my geography liao.. but if i m not wrong, it is the cool temperate climate forest?? (correct me if i m wrong.. hee..) i always tot the forest in tassie would be drier and more 'brown'. get what i mean? hehe.. and you see the pict below, its so green and dense!

within the group, there is a small gal.. she is so cute!

and here she is, plucking the pretty flowers i showed her and posing with it.. (the yellow thingy on her hand are the flowers)

as it was raining the whole day, its very very muddy.. and look at my shoes.. haha.. filled with mud!

and this is the only pict of me i have for the whole trip.. as the guys were really walking too fast! haha.. and because i was taking pict, i was e last one to be out of the forest.. =( so scary!

and this is the last part we went to visit! its the last place where they saw e Tassie Tiger! and this is the hut that the ppl used to live in.. see what we found..

very old newspapers!! haha.. if we can bring them out and kept for another 20 years, i may be rich! joking! =P hehe.. but its really exciting to find old newspaper there.. and we saw many old beer bottles too..

and as you can see, this is what you see from the door.. the other side's wall has a big hole.. and the whole hut is in a terrible state.. dun think anyone can live in there anymore.. and this part of the forest is in danger of being logged.. and we hope that it would not happen..
